Driven by a passion for horses and a relentless work ethic, Lindy Burch wanted to be known as one of the best, and she built a legendary career proving it.

Few people have shaped the cutting horse industry like Lindy Burch. From becoming the first woman to win the National Cutting Horse Association Open Futurity to building the renowned Oxbow Ranch breeding and training program, her impact reaches far beyond the arena. Today, she continues to give back through mentorship, clinics and leadership roles that have helped influence the future of the sport, earning her recognition as the recipient of Western Horseman’s 2026 Women of the West award.
